Kim, please don’t take this article so serious. It was actually written to get a laugh. The guy who wrote the article in the magazine has seen this post AND got a laugh out of it.
I was merely making the point that a lot of people we interact with are also in the mainstream, (NPR, Trade Magazines, etc..). Again this article is just for laughs but also relates how close everyone is getting with new media.

Are you really serious? How is social media becoming more social because you see a picture of someone you know in a magazine you chose to take to the bathroom while you were taking a dump?

If social media is becoming more social for you, good for you, but don’t act like your “friends” are invading your private time when you invite them in to a private place.

Bro. In India this is a little different, we don’t carry articles especially books to commode. What ever might the book contain, a book is treated as a holy thing. We respect it. When I refer to book, also it means magazines, novels, academic text books etc. This might be some what out of discussion, but I thought of telling this here.

It is what it is. I agree the trend is going in some interesting directions, & the cultural impact is unavoidable. Privacy, in case you haven’t noticed, is forever lost. Anonymity is impossible. Parse that.

I dunno… some people answer their mobile phones, or text while on the job. Some people (not necessairily the same ones) even watch TV while sitting on the throne.

So, maybe, it might not be only Social Media invading our most private places. Of course, I could be wrong. After all, what do I know? I don’t have time to read magazines in the loo anyway. ;-p
